The American Baseball Coaches Association and Traveling Teams are pleased to announce the 2023 ABCA Convention Scholarship opportunity! Traveling Teams will be helping six coaches attend the 2023 ABCA Convention in Nashville from January 5-8 by covering the convention registration cost and providing a stipend to cover other convention-related costs!
Scholarship Package:
- Free Convention Registration for the 2022 ABCA Convention in Chicago
- $400 stipend to cover convention-related costs
Applications for the 2023 ABCA/Traveling Teams Convention Scholarship will be accepted from Monday, November 14 through Sunday, November 27. The scholarship recipients will then be announced in the ABCA Press Box e-newsletter, which is mailed to members weekly, on Wednesday, November 30.

The 2023 ABCA/Traveling Teams Convention Scholarship is open to all ABCA members. If you have not yet joined the ABCA for the current membership year, please join/renew here so that you are eligible for the scholarship opportunity and have access to all of the other ABCA membership benefits!
We highly encourage anyone wishing to attend the 2023 ABCA Convention in Nashville to register as soon as possible. There is a limit of 8,100 members for the upcoming ABCA Convention and there are less than 2,000 registration slots remaining! Anyone selected as a ABCA/Traveling Teams Convention Scholarship recipient that has already registered for the Convention will receive the $400 stipend and will have the choice of a free 2024 ABCA Convention registration or full reimbursement of 2023 ABCA Convention registration.
Criteria to Receive Scholarship:
- Must be a current ABCA member prior to the scholarship application deadline on Sunday, November 27. Membership registration is open online at ABCA.org/apply or by phone at (336) 821-3140.
- Scholarship recipients will be selected by the ABCA & Traveling Teams and announced in the ABCA's Press Box e-newsletter on Wednesday, November 30th.
- An ABCA staff member will contact scholarship recipients directly regarding scholarship stipend using the contact information on file in their ABCA account. To update any of your contact information, please click on the "My Profile" link at the top of the page when you're logged in at ABCA.org.
Additional Details:
- If scholarship recipient has already registered for the 2023 ABCA Convention, recipient may elect to be reimbursed for their 2023 Convention registration or may apply the free Convention registration towards the 2024 ABCA Convention, which will be held in Dallas from January 4-7, 2024.
- Recipients MUST check-in and receive their badge on-site at the Convention in Nashville in order to receive stipend.
- All Convention attendees are highly encouraged to stop by the Traveling Teams booth in the ABCA Trade Show in Nashville (Booth #501).
