Bob Warn served as head baseball coach at Indiana State University for 31 years. With a record of 1,070-745-9, he ranks among the top 40 all-time among NCAA Div. I coaches. He led the Sycamores to post 25 winning seasons and finished with at least 40 wins on nine different occasions. Honored three times as Missouri Valley Conference Coach of the Year, he was inducted in both the Indiana Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame and Iowa Western College Hall of Fame. His legacy includes 126 All-MVC players, 97 MVC All-Academic selections, and over 90 professional players, including 21 Major Leaguers. Under his guidance, 11 Sycamores earned All-America honors and 30 received All-Region recognition. Warn served as President of the ABCA in 1997 and continues service on the Board of Directors. In 2009, Indiana State honored his legacy by renaming their field Bob Warn Field.
