Dave Keilitz, former head baseball coach and Athletic Director at Central Michigan University, served as Executive Director of the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) from 1994 to 2014. Under his leadership, the association flourished, with increased membership and convention attendance. Keilitz's tenure saw significant legislative achievements and the establishment of the ABCA Board of Directors. He also held various roles within the ABCA, including President in 1982. Keilitz's impact extended to Central Michigan, where he excelled as a student-athlete, coach, and administrator. As head coach, he led CMU to six NCAA Championship appearances, four conference titles, and never had a losing season, amassing a 456-203 (.692) record. Inducted into multiple halls of fame, including the ABCA Hall of Fame in 1989, Keilitz's was the receipt of the prestigious ABCA/Wilson Lefty Gomez Award in 2002.
