Jim Schlossnagle was hired as head coach at The University of Texas at Austin in June 2024, following three seasons at Texas A&M, where he led the Aggies to a 135-62 record (.685) with two College World Series appearances, including a national runner-up finish in 2024. Schlossnagle is just the fourth coach to win multiple College World Series games at different programs. Before Texas A&M, Schlossnagle spent 18 years at TCU. He guided the Horned Frogs to five College World Series, making their Omaha debut in 2010 and adding four consecutive CWS trips from 2014-17. He has been named a National Coach of the Year twice and Mountain West Conference Coach of the Year on eight occasions. Schlossnagle currently serves on the ABCA Board of Directors and served as the Association's President in 2023.
