John Casey served as ABCA President in 2016 and became Chairman of the ABCA Board of Directors in 2024. He retired as the head coach of the Tufts University baseball program following the 2021 season, where his teams combined for a 765-341-5 (.689) record over his 38 seasons at the helm. Under Casey’s leadership, the Jumbos qualified for the NCAA Div. III tournament eight times (1995, 2002, 2010, 2011, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019). A three-time NESCAC Coach of the Year (2010, 2016, 2017), Casey's teams featured five players who signed professionally and several ABCA/Rawlings All-Americans. Casey was inducted to the ABCA Hall of Fame in 2020 and is a member of multiple other Halls of Fame. He is now an assistant coach at Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island alongside his son, Kevin.

Dr. David Altopp coached college baseball for 35 years, dedicating his career to NAIA institutions. Beginning at Phoenix Christian High School, he secured a state Class B championship in his debut year. Transitioning to college coaching, he led teams to six conference championships and received five Coach of the Year honors before founding Lee University's baseball program. His tenure at Lee saw remarkable success, including three consecutive Conference championships and a 55-16 season reaching the NAIA World Series. Altopp boasts an overall record of 807-786 (.507) and membership in six Halls of Fame. Notably, he ensured every player who completed four years under him graduated from college. Beyond coaching, Altopp has served on several ABCA committees and served on the NAIA-Baseball Coaches Association Executive Committee. Named as the NAIA representative to the ABCA Executive Committee in 1992, he moved from that position to being elected by the ABCA membership as the Fourth Vice President of the ABCA in 1999, culminating as the 2003 President of the ABCA. He currently serves on the Ethics in Coaching Committee.
