John Kolasinski enters his 22nd season at Siena Heights University and his 37th season as a collegiate head coach in 2024-25. A stalwart in NAIA baseball, Kolasinski has earned numerous accolades, including two NAIA Northeast Regional Coach of the Year awards, five New England Coach of the Year honors, and five Maine Athletic Conference Coach of the Year selections. He was inducted into the Husson Hall of Fame and is a recipient of the Robert Ish Smith Award. Kolasinski also served as President of the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) in 2019 and continues to serve on its Board of Directors. Kolasinski claimed his 500th win in 2019 with a commanding 22-9 victory over Bethel. He has led Siena Heights to a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Tournament championship and three NAIA Northeast Regional appearances, along with six Maine Athletic Conference titles during his tenure at Husson University. His best season came in 2012, when the Saints posted a 33-25 record and reached the NAIA Tournament Daytona Beach Bracket. Kolasinski has mentored eight conference players of the year, 16 NAIA All-America honorable mentions, and 123 NAIA Scholar-Athletes. Siena Heights has been recognized as an ABCA Scholar Team every year since the award's inception in 2015-16. Kolasinski has also coached all four of Siena Heights' NAIA Gold Glove honorees and 43 all-conference players. Beyond the field, Kolasinski’s coaching tree includes three college head coaches, over 10 college assistants, and numerous high school and legion coaches. Five of his former players have gone on to sign professional baseball contracts. In 1998, he added international experience by coaching in Japan during the International Tournament.
