Matt Noone, a 1990 graduate of Princeton University and former two-time All-Ivy selection, has been at the helm of Babson College’s baseball program for 23 seasons. With over 500 career wins, Noone has transformed Babson into a perennial contender, guiding the team to eight NCAA Tournament appearances, including their first-ever trip to the Division III College World Series in 2019. Under his leadership, the Beavers have captured five NEWMAC Championships and produced four straight regular-season crowns from 2017-2021, setting program records for wins, runs scored, and home runs.
A two-time conference and regional Coach of the Year, Noone's success extends beyond Babson. Prior to his tenure, he served as pitching coach at Northeastern University, leading the Huskies to two America East titles and NCAA Tournament appearances. He also coached in the Cape Cod League for the Bourne Braves and Hyannis Mets. As a player at Princeton, Noone was a captain, First Team All-Ivy honoree, and Northeast Regional First Team All-Star.
