Danny Hall enters his 38th season as a head coach and his 32nd year at the helm of Georgia Tech baseball. The all-time winningest coach in program history, Hall has guided the Yellow Jackets to 23 NCAA Tournament appearances, including three trips to the College World Series (1994, 2002, 2006). Under his leadership, Tech has claimed five ACC Tournament titles and seven ACC regular season or divisional championships, most recently in 2021.
Renowned for developing potent offenses, Hall’s teams have led or finished second in the ACC in batting or run production 18 times during his tenure. Since his arrival in 1994, 143 Georgia Tech players have been selected in the MLB Draft a total of 159 times, including 15 first-round picks. He was inducted into the ABCA Hall of Fame in 2023, cementing his legacy as one of college baseball’s most accomplished coaches.
Prior to Georgia Tech, Hall served as the head coach at Kent State, leading the Golden Flashes to two MAC championships and NCAA Regional appearances. His career accolades include four ACC Coach of the Year honors and recognition as the 1997 Sporting News National Coach of the Year.
