The American Baseball Coaches Association and Traveling Teams have announced the six ABCA member coaches that have been granted a 2024 ABCA Convention Scholarship. The scholarship covers the registration cost for the coach to attend the 2024 ABCA Convention, which is being held in Dallas from January 4-7. Each recipient also receives a $400 stipend to use towards other convention-related costs.
Members were able to apply for the 2024 ABCA Convention Scholarship from October 16 through October 31. The six recipients were then selected by Traveling Teams and the ABCA from the pool of applications.
2024 ABCA/Traveling Teams Convention Scholarship Recipients:
- Kyle Douglas, Coffee County Central High School (TN)
- Patrick Kraft, New Palatine High School (IN)
- Marquay Mayo, New Jersey Institute of Technology
- Blake Morgan, Davis County Raptors (UT)
- Christopher Salerno, Tom House Sports (TX)
- Bryce Tucker, Prestonsburg High School (KY)
Each recipient receives:
Free Convention Registration for the 2024 ABCA Convention
$400 stipend to cover other convention-related costs
