This position will be responsible for executing the vision of Prime Performance, which will be discussed and described in a manual. Development of private, small group, swing velocity and swing maximization training, and baseball clinics/ seminar are all part of job description. LOCATION: Tomball, TX PART TIME/HOURLY WAGE: Based Upon Experience The Baseball Instructor – Throwing/Pitching will be expected to learn and assist with the following: • Development and Implementation of throwing/pitching fundamentals, arm care/recovery protocols, and short/long term development programs. • Planning of athlete’s daily plan, coordination with other members of the staff, and offsite work required of the athlete. • Analyze of player performance using tools, reports and technology. • Create and monitor development plans for each player based on areas of opportunity. • Communication of plans, goals and progress with players, parents, and relevant staff members throughout checkpoints. • Assistance of other staff when able and necessary with normal day to day operations at the complex. • Conduct Baseball Clinics and Camps. • Attend instructional clinics yearly to remain up to date in coaching. • Teach the fundamental skills and drills required to have efficient throwing mechanics. Requirements / Qualifications: • Interest in player development, strength & conditioning and analytics. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office. • Hard working and driven to succeed. • Professional or collegiate playing experience is a plus. • Coaching experience is a plus. • Strength & conditioning related or technical degree is a plus. Additional Requirements / Qualifications: • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. • Ability to stand for extended periods of time as well as bending, reaching, throwing, and swinging a bat. • Visual acuity to facilitate instruction. • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors. Work Environment The work will largely be performed at a sports venue (indoor or outdoor- hold/cold environment). This job operates both outside on a baseball field and in an office setting.
