2017 ABCA Barnstormers Clinics

ABCA Barnstormers Clinics
The American Baseball Coaches Association will be hosting 20 Barnstormers Clinics throughout the Midwest and Carolinas in 2017. The Barnstormers Clinics are presented by Blast Motion and will run August through November, leading up to the 2018 ABCA Convention in Indianapolis.

These one-day events are for baseball coaches and focus on fundamentals, practical position-specific drills, coaching cues, and practice organization tips. The events are hosted by ABCA member coaches and are open to the public. They will typically run 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Each of the one-day coaching clinics will feature ABCA member speakers from that region. The speakers will cover a variety of topics, including hitting, pitching, arm care, catching, practice efficiency and planning, base running and defensive play. Blast Motion will also give a presentation during each event about hitting and the advantages of using motion detection and analytics to improve a hitter's performance.

Events will be held in Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, Nebraska, Ohio, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee and Wisconsin.

The cost is just $40 for non-members, or just $25 for coaches who also register for a 2017-18 ABCA membership at the same time.
