2023 Barnstormers Regional Coaches Clinics

Presented by

The American Baseball Coaches Association hosted four Barnstormers Regional Coaches Clinics, presented by The Marine Corps, in Fall 2023! The clinics were held in Waco, Texas (Baylor University - Oct. 14), Charlotte, North Carolina (Charlotte - Oct. 21), San Diego, California (UC San Diego - Oct. 28) and College Park, Maryland (University of Maryland - Nov. 11). The sites for the 2024 ABCA Barnstormers Regional Coaches Clinics will be unveiled in Spring 2024!

The ABCA Barnstormers Clinics are one-day coaching clinics for baseball coaches of all levels. The clinic sessions are focused on the fundamentals, with practical position-specific drills, coaching cues and practice organization tips that can be directly applied to your individual athlete or team. Following the six clinic speaker presentations, attendees will be able to observe the host team's practice session in the afternoon, getting tips and explanations from the coaches as they conduct their team training. During the evening, the ABCA hosts an informal networking social at a local venue for any coaches that want to attend! These changes were suggested directly by members and implemented for the first time in 2022, resulting in the largest Barnstormers Clinics attendance ever!

Barnstormers Clinics are free for all current ABCA member coaches. Any coach who is not a member but would like to attend may simply join the ABCA ahead of time and sign up for the event using the links below, or join the ABCA at the event. The Barnstormers Clinics are geared towards youth, academy, high school and travel coaches and instructors in the area but are also great for any baseball enthusiast or parent who wants to learn more about the game from some of the most respected coaches in the sport.

Members can watch presentations from past Barnstormers Clinics in the ABCA Video Library!

About the Marine Corps
You don’t join the Marines. You become one.
Ours is a noble path and demanding journey reserved for those willing to engage and determined to defeat all mental, moral, and physical obstacles it takes to become a Marine. In or out of uniform, it’s the fighting spirit found inside every Marine that drives us to victory.

As shifting threats and unknown challenges threaten our Nation, the Marine Corps remains committed to the three promises we make – We Make Marines, We Win Our Nation’s Battles, and We Develop Quality Citizens.

The Marine Corps looks for smart, resilient individuals who can meet our tough physical standards and understand that while we modernize equipment and tactics, our success depends on their ability to adapt to emergent threats in any environment.

The Marine Corps recognizes the important role coaches, educators, mentors, and parents play in inspiring that fighting spirit. We need your help to find the future leaders of our force. Whether your interest lies in helping us identify high-achieving students and athletes or inviting us to help you motivate students and steer them toward success, we’d like to connect.
