J. Kyle Anderson served as head baseball coach at the University of Chicago from 1934-71. During his tenure, he helped organize the ABCA and coached the U.S. team in the 1959 Pan American Games.
For his contributions to the game of baseball, Anderson was awarded the ABCA/Wilson Lefty Gomez Award in 1966.
