Dave Chamberlain founded the baseball program at Monroe Community College, serving as head coach from 1965-95.
While at Monroe CC, Chamberlain amassed a record 687-212-1 (.763) and 17 conference championships. He led the Tribunes to four trips to the NJCAA World Series.
Chamberlain was elected to the NJCAA Hall of Fame in 1994 and the Ithaca College Athletics Hall of Fame in 2005.
Dave was and still is very active on the administrative side of the game acting as a committee member, director, and resident for the NJCAA. Chamberlain is a member of the NJCAA Executive Committee and ABCA Hall of Fame Committee.
Chamberlain has also served as bench coach for the St. Petersburg College Titans.
