Pocket Radar will also provide Featured Content for the ABCA Press Box e-newsletter throughout the year.

“We are excited to begin our new partnership with Pocket Radar,” said ABCA Executive Director Craig Keilitz. “Pocket Radar has had a consistent presence at our Trade Show, and their commitment to providing products that will help improve the way the game is coached and played aligns directly with our mission here at the ABCA.”

With Pocket Radar’s new Smart Coach Radar and app, coaches and athletes of all ages are able to capture accurate speeds integrated with video of their mechanics, or get immediate feedback of their speeds delivered wirelessly to their smartphones.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to partner with such a high caliber organization as the American Baseball Coaches Association,” said Steve Goody, CEO and co-founder of Pocket Radar. “For close to 10 years we have been working directly with coaches of all levels at their annual ABCA convention, so this was a no-brainer. As technology continues to advance the game, our expanding product line will continue to be at the forefront, providing actionable insights into metrics like hitting exit velocity and pitch speed to help coaches and athletes better understand their performance.”
