2022 ABCA/Driveline Convention Scholarship Recipients Announced

Convention Scholarship

The American Baseball Coaches Association and Driveline Baseball have announced the six ABCA member coaches that have been granted a 2022 ABCA/Driveline Convention Scholarship. The scholarship covers the registration cost for the convention and each recipients also gets a $400 stipend to use on other convention-related costs.

The ABCA and Driveline first teamed up to offer the Convention Scholarship Program in 2018. Since that time, over 30 deserving coaches have benefited from the program.

2022 ABCA/Driveline Convention Scholarship Recipients:

  • Ben Delgado, Grafton High School (VA)
  • Rhys Hartung, James Clemens High School (AL)
  • Sam McElreath, Blinn College (TX)
  • Maddux Minton, East Stroudsburg University (PA)
  • Joshua Saperstein, Westchester High School (CA)
  • Neal Sammons, Osborne High School (GA)

Each recipient receives:

  • Free Convention Registration for the 2022 ABCA Convention
  • $400 stipend to cover other convention-related costs
