Joining the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) means gaining access to a wealth of perks. Since its establishment in 1945, the ABCA has grown into the premier association for baseball coaches worldwide, boasting a membership of over 15,000 coaches, with nearly 8,000 attending the annual ABCA Convention.

ABCA CONVENTION & EVENTS

Attend the World's Largest Baseball Convention each January, featuring over 50 educational coaching clinics across the main-stage clinics, Youth Coaches Session and Expo Theater. Clinic topics include pitching, hitting, fielding, strength & conditioning, team building, motivation and a variety of other topics! The Convention also features the ABCA Trade Show with more than 350 companies showcasing the latest baseball products and innovations. Other events include the Question & Answer Forums, Hot Stove and Rookie Coaches Mentorship Panel Discussions, award celebrations, networking socials and more!

The 2025 ABCA Convention is being held in Washington, D.C. from January 2-5, 2025! For those member coaches that cannot attend in-person, the clinics will once again be live streamed online! Convention registrants receive on-demand video access to all clinics from the recent convention within a month after the conclusion of the Convention. All other ABCA members receive that year's on-demand clinic videos in their account later in the membership year.

Registration for the ABCA Convention fully opens on September 1 each year, however, ABCA Members have the opportunity to take advantage of Priority Convention Registration each August! This exclusive access for current ABCA Members allows members to get registered and hold a hotel room in the ABCA discounted room block before registration opens to new and former members. Professional Development & Continuing Education Credit Documentation is also offered through participation in the ABCA Convention. Members who attend the ABCA Convention or live stream the ABCA Convention Clinics can go to www.ABCA.org/education to find out more. Documentation is uploaded directly to ABCA members' accounts after the event!

ABCA members can also attend Barnstormers Regional Coaching Clinics for free! The ABCA runs four of these one-day clinics, which feature clinic presentations, on-field demonstrations and a networking social, annually!

ABCA VIDEO LIBRARY

The ABCA Video Library is the premier resource for baseball coaches worldwide; it's a dynamic resource hub tailored to empower coaches across all levels of baseball. From seasoned veterans to eager novices, this online platform, which features over 800 on-demand coaching clinics, is a treasure trove of knowledge and insight. 

The extensive video collection spans a wide range of topics, from fundamental drills to advanced strategies, acting as a virtual mentor for coaches dedicated to improving their craft. The library includes all clinics from the ABCA Convention dating back to 2008 as well as recent Barnstormers Regional Clinic presentations and webinars. New videos are added continually throughout the year to ensure the content stays relevant with emerging trends and innovations in coaching methodology.

Members have the convenience of accessing the videos through both the online platform and the My ABCA mobile app. With the ability to search and filter videos by event, coaching topic, and other criteria, members can easily pinpoint the content they desire.

PUBLICATIONS & SUBSCRIPTIONS

All current members get a free subscription to the ABCA's Inside Pitch Magazine. Be sure to renew by Sept. 1 each year so you get all six issues! The magazine is published in September, November, January, March, May and July. Members can also access all full issues as well as the entire archive of past issues for free at www.ABCA.org/magazine!

Personal Liability Insurance is provided FREE for U.S. residents with an active ABCA membership.
